Damn it! I promised everyone that I will be slowing down on my partying in 2007 after finishing 2006 with a BANG...... then Taj comes up with the DARUDE boy and Cyber JOe the first weekend of 07! I'm fucked

Going to make every effort to come up from new Orleans for this. Darude is totally mis-judged by some people. he knows how to put together a set and throw it down.

I completely agree. When Darude was here for the S.F. Lovefest he absolutely killed it on the 1015 float & then when he played @ the club later that night he tore the roof down!!! Darude is an excellent DJ that shouldnt be overlooked nor underrated. I will get a mix for your listening pleasure....

Yep, I've been saying since I first saw him live a few years ago that he's a fantastic DJ.

It's unfortanete that he's stereotyped as cheese (thanks Sandstorm) when he's anything but.

I need to figure out all the lineups going on in January between all the clubs (help me out here various clubs!!) and then figure out if I can go to any. Probably can only make it out once or twice, so need to decide carefully!!!

As it stands, this would be the event I would try to make it out for. But still, need to what else is happening.

i'll be there. last time i only caught the last 30-45 min of his set but it was bangin! ps: nothing wrong with sandstorm! iirc, last time he mashed that beat up into another track and it sounded wicked

Yah, yah..... who past out at 5am last Saturday and woke up at 10am and my party was still jumping .

Anybody know what time slot Darude would approximately have ? We're probably having to take a flight back in the morning ad just want to plan it out better.

You need to pay closer attention to 1015's website.

The January calendar on there is JANURY 2006's CALENDAR...as in this past January. Not this upcoming January.

Darude will be on from 1am-4am...The SF airport is about 20 minutes from the club...

Cool, thanks very much for the info. I have a SWA flight from Oakland at 9:25 AM so it should all work out. That's the way we like to party sometimes - straight from the club to the airport and sleep on the plane.

You are very welcome...

OOOOOUUUUUCCCCCHHHHH!!! HARDCORE!!! Oakland airport is about 35-40 minutes away...There wont be any traffic either so you should be just fine...

We've found that in our dj chasing travels that it actually works out pretty well that way because you would end up losing that day sleeping in a hotel room or at your friends. So instead of wasting time like that, you might as well be flying and getting back home to work/school or whatever. It's easier to sleep on a plane when you're worn out.

So back to the thread: D A R U D E !

Thanks Gentlemen..I' m still trying my hard to learn to make it sounds better. Hopefully, there will be couple hot releases coming in the 2007s.

Bah, in May I worked 18-20 hours a day for 7 days straight down in LA (for E3) and after the show ended on the Friday, went straight to the airport, then flew in, got home at like 10:00pm, changed, and went to see Markus Schulz & Matthew Dekay

I lasted until about 3 songs into Markus when my body said NO MORE and I had to go, lol.

Same night that Ten15 had PvD
