Best Party You've Been to Overseas

what was it, and why?

I consider myself one of the unlucky ones who has yet to experience a place like ibiza. It has been on my mind more lately as a trip i want to do in the near future. All i need is some good stories of the great times that are waiting to be had.
Any memorable experiences to share?

Tiesto playing to about 250 people at a semi-private party in Amsterdam, June 2001.

We bought tickets at a local record store after seeing the gig on his website schedule. I hadn't really heard of the guy at the time and another friend of mine told me we should check it out.

People were wondering how we got in. We laughed when we heard it was a semi-private college year-end party!

Easy.

1. Berlin Fight the Power Demonstration in 2004, their make up party for the Love Parade. Because it was cancelled that year the promoters STILL got together and had 8 floats and brought together around 20,000/25,000 ppl anyway.

That was fucking mental and i got part of it on vid. I was going to say my num 1 was tied between what I mentioned and this.

Dance Valley 2004 for my first experience, it was definitely something I will never forget. It was also my first big festival.

Awakenings in February 2006.. everything techno, what more could I have asked for.

Can't say I have done many overseas parties, so far only Fuse in Brussels for NYE last year to see Deetron & Joris Voorn! was a great night though, nice to finally check out the techno mecca.

I have a feeling it will be hard for me to answer this question for 2007 though.. I already have a few parties lined up.. Timewarp & Awakenings 10th anniversary parties!

Can tell you're having fun if that's you doing all the "woo-hooing".

hmmm...i'm gonna go with diggers 6 hour set @ fabric june 04. epic night.

there have been other wicked events i've been to in the uk and ibiza, but in terms of musical quality and everything coming together perfectly, that night probably takes the cake.
