track ID'ed after 2 years!

just wanted to share. track is George Hales - Autumn Falls (St. John vs. Alucard Remix). Heard this track first in a Giorgio Ponticelli set, and then tonight, on a whim, decided to listen to an old dj Kristoff set, and heard something very familiar. Found the tracklist online and ID'ed the track.

i actually think that its TUBULAR that you found out. Goes to show just out of the blue you can find a track online. I've done it quite a few trimes.

agree the original alucard mix of autumn falls was best though.. still have it in a couple of sets

word. my guess would've been that an ID that took that many years is either unreleased or fairly obscure.

these two took me about 3 years each:

heard it several times on ibiza documentaries in 1999 & just the memory alone was all i had to go by.. no samples or anything. i'd also seen the name being knocked around on compilations/forums etc but never thought to check it out.. so just a case of not putting two & two together i guess.

heard it at a classics night in 2005 & my friend ID'd it for me, was over the moon but felt a bit silly for not realising sooner
