oh its not thta i got nothing to do. its just that im limited to going downtown toronto and i really hate line ups and crowds and overpriced drinks and drunkin ppl that prolly want to fight and ill end up smashing someones upper lip with the top of a bottle of remy martin.

theres tons of paries out of town etc. at all my friends cottages but i got to stay in the city because tomm i have tons of shit to do

I am staying home, but by the looks of things, I dont even have to leave the house to get a taste of annoying NYE partiers !! My roommate has about 15 drunken friends over now, and that number is suppose to grow. I should consider going out now.

I hate being out when midnight comes on NYE, I always hide in the washroom right before 12, lol.

staying home new years is sooooo over rated to go to a club town down 1 tickets are 50 to 60 bucks and for what its the same as going anying other nite big deal at 12:00 you say happy new year 2 the clubs are going to be soo pack you cant even move 3 it takes 30mins to get a drink at the bar cuz the clubs are soo dammmm pack...
On that note i wish you all a happy new year all the best for 2007
be save and have loads of fun if your going to drink alot take the ttc home

P.s as for me i will be home drinking my Rev listening to some kick ass music..

You know what dude, you hit it right on the head. 15 dollar drinks plus admission costing no less than 50 bucks makes a club night in TO just overpriced. Plus the talent here is top-notch any other night of the week - so why feel left out?

I'm just going to my friends, but its nothing big. There's supposed to be about 6 of us. Not really in the mood to go crazy this year.

To be honest, I wish I was working in a bar tonight. Anywhere you're gonna go, there will be alot (if not all) people who cannot control their drinking problem.... why not make a couple of bills while you're there?
