Main Room sucked balls, sound was horrible, but i'm sure andrew would of sounded alright but i left just before his set..

and i think there should be a street meat vendor on the patio in every club... mmmmmmm

had a blast playing in the tides after Jelo.

can't really comment on the rest of the party as I didn't get there till 3 and didn't really spend any time in the other rooms.

Had a great time.

The Parkview Room had some serious sound in there with banging tunes all night.

Great sets by Rex Manning + Dennis Hahn. Caught a bit of Jelo as well, but was far too tired to stick around for much after that. Ended up heading back to London before Cosmic Gate.

Thanks again to Destiny/Temporal Rhythm for the opportunity to play. Hope to do it again sometime soon. Happy New Year everyone.

I went in with low expectations since last year sucked. Oh how wrong I was. It was unbelievable. Best new years to date. Dennis' set was nice and hard, although I left for part of it to go drink... by myself, because only the back room served Rev. It wasn't even regular blue Rev it was the shitty purple kind. What ever, I got drunk... Then went and danced some more.

Spent most of my time in the breaks room. This would probably be the first time that I can say the all ages thing didn't seem to be a problem at all. Although it was VERY nice that for most of the night the breaks room was 19+ only.

The music was awesome all night, I even caught a bit of cosmic gate, and even that was good.

I have not a single complaint about the night, except for maybe the state of the washrooms in the breaks room. Considering this was an all ages night, with no rev, and a trance headliner, I'm Really REALLY impressed at the amount of fun I had.

Here's to next new years being even half as good.

outage lasted for 6 minutes---Cause , some sketchy fuck comes up to the control room not knowing where they are and spills a drink into the Sound computer keyboard, it took 5 minutes to reboot the system

Ah no worries on being busy. I know far too well how things get before a big night goes off. From what I saw, other than the asshat spilling his drink, you guys pulled off yet another great show.

Haha, ALOT of people. I had like 5 people come up to me last night that I've never met, all saying they knew who I was from that lol. It was good meeting you man, and yeah, I want the full story haha.

i couldn't agree more. im sorry to say but destiny has such a good reputation for throwing good parties, but this one was a complete disaster. soo poorly orgainized. figuring out just how to pay to get reduced cover inside was incompetent, then coat check.. omg.. thats where i spent my new years count down. horrible. this i know isn't destiny's fault, but omg DOCKS hire some fucking competent people. then, getting vip passes that did absoultely nothing was a chore in itself, but then find out there really was no complimentry champagne, or a vip lounge i was pretty bummed out. putting all the bitching aside, JELO destroyed the tides room. thank god for him. i would have a horrible night if it wasn't for his phenomenal track selection and set. i think my main complaint about the evening was that there was too many music styles within such a close area. you could hear the bass of the main room in the liberation lounge, and other rooms as well. it was a total vibe kill and confused the musical sense outta me.. anyone else notice around 2am the place was pretty much empty? i guess these little kids can't party like we used to. curfew maybe? lol, overall i have to say i had a good new years, but that party was horribly put together and executed.

.....isn't it? The coat check always sucks and that is so stupid to me and I never bother with it anymore. Of all of the crazy things that can happen at a place like the docks, one of the things that most people remember the most is how bad the coat check is. The messed up thing is that it hasn't always been that way. With all the renos that place has had, all they've managed to do is fuck up the coat check and the one place they put in a wood floor (upstairs) there isn't even a dance space!

Yeah, the one compliant I have is the coat check. I showed up at about 2:30am, and when I went to put my coat in coat check, the guy said he wasn't allowed to let anyone else past to put coats in. SO, I had to carry my coat around with me, even though you could see there was lots of empty hangers to put coats on. THAT was not cool.
