ok.. i like this. the bassline is nice, especially when it changes chord. that guitar(?) goes well with. the melody itself is ok, but not as good as the guitar sound. nice one

Well, I think this one is pretty excellent song but needs some more work in the middle part.

+ 0.0 - 1.50, deepish progressive build-up. IMO this rocks!
+ effects, drums, strong kick.
+ 0.56 + 1,24 starting leads, these sounds excellent.
+ The very end part after 5 mins, synths, melodies.
+ guitar melody
+ Overall song structure

- 0,28 "panned" ohihat is too loud (with headphones), good idea btw.
- guitar sound, now melody is definitely great but I would like hear this played with some other guitar sample. Btw. this melody is quite similar to Tastexperience's Tantrix , maybe that kind of thinner/brighter guitar would work better on your song also.
- 4,09 a bit too harsh hihats & bassline could be more powerful,
maybe add strings to make the break stronger?
- 4.35 - 5.03 synths are too dominants, the sound isn't balanced
until 5.03.

This song has lot's of potential but break would use some more elements like strings, effects or anything to make it stronger.
Besides I haven't heard this good build-up for a while, you could easily make this a progressive tune also and skip the uplifting part .

Sorry about the panning...my headphones have built-in bass boost, so the trebles don't sound very loud.

Don't think I can remove the uplifting part...I love cheddar. =)

hey just got to listen it, it's been a busy sunny day

i definately like it, it's a soft track and easy to listen to. but, maybe for some people, that might be its weaker point, i dunno

keep it up! you're heading the right way (i hope i am as well )
