ANOTHER Jason Porter mix - better than the last!
Well, after weeks of desperately chasing after my old mates that i used to go see Jason Porter with, in hopes of finding something, I've got another set! This one is a live tape from 1998, and I would say it's even better than the last one I shared here. In fact it's one of the best DJ mixes I've ever heard, period.
It's mostly pumping progressive trance, although the first tune is a sort of mellow electroish number.
You owe it to yourself to grab this NOW

yayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayay
awesome!! (oh and btw i kinda got lazy with the remix i was going to do with ur trial of the mind track...i will finish it sometime though!)
This may be of interest to you ID-hunters: I'm informed by my mate who supplied the mix that the track from 18-28 minutes on the first part is a test pressing by Jason Porter himself (as I suspected since that's his signature sound). No idea what it's actually called, but it doesn't matter I suppose...
Any other ID's wanted, tell me and I'll try asking around (long shot tho
)
Also, to ahp2002: I can't respond to your PM, the system says your mailbox is full. Of course you can use it for your site, please spread the mix around as much as possible
gonna get this when I get home. I loved his 1994 mix. Still searching for a tracklist for it.
Thanks!
wow what an amazing mix.........I definately would love to see a tracklisting. People check this out!
I'm going to leave this here... Doesn't seem like DJ promo to me.. more a discussion of older music etc.
Anyone not agree?

Enjoyed this mix, but not a patch on the 1994 IMHO.
A tracklist for that mix would be awesome, especially tracks 1 and 2.
Has someone this mix available? Link is not working (I think) and since I love the other two sets, it would be great to get a listen also to this one.
The link still works fine for me -- right click and save-as (in Internet Explorer). Anyone else?
Well, if your idea of "working" is that you can Right Click + Save As and download a file instantly which doesn't work (can't open the file), I guess it's "working".
So yeah, a sendspace/new link would be great
OMG!!! how'd i miss this thread!?
Jason Porter FTW
Damn. xeron.net servers must be so f**king messed up...
I will find a way to upload this if necessary. But I'm pretty sure some people on the board have it. It's hard for me to upload stuff so if someone else can upload it, that would be nice
But the link does still work for me (as in I can actually download the complete mp3, and it plays fine). I can't be the only one?

OK cool, Pokit if you could upload it to somewhere else, that would be great!
New working links to the 2 sets:
First set http://www.sendspace.com/file/qokl01
Second set http://www.sendspace.com/file/96x7j7
save as download worked fine for me. thanks
Muchas Gracias!
Thanks for posting new links, have problems with the two posted in the main page.
Thanks Pokit, for uploading! This is a set that no one should miss
I have little hope that any tracks will be IDed, but try anyway guys
From 18-28 minutes is apparently a test pressing by Jason Porter himself.
