i have and i actually prefer the karen overton much more than the original...but its all a matter of taste, so no point in arguing that.

ANDY GRAY REMIX!!!

I can't for the world understand why DJs played the Junkie XL remix. Andy Gray's remix piss on it.

+1 The billie ray martin vocals are horrible.

And my pick is Hybrid feat John Graham - Until Tomorrow

Posted by RapidFire on Jan-04-2007 21:42:

depeche mode - martyr

dave's best vocal in a while. probably better because it doesnt have martin backing him up like every song on pta.

Probably because it's uplifting and melodic and it fits their style better.

it's neither uplifting or especially melodic. and listen to both tracks. Andy put down effort in using the original lyrics which Junkie XL didn't at all. the vocals adds alot to this track.

Which one are you talking about as not being uplifting or melodic? I've heard both and the Andy Gray remix fits better with a progressive house set, it's darker and deeper, while the Junkie XL fits better with a more melodic and uplifting trance set...it's more popish, so more mainstream DJs like Armin van Buuren, PvD, Ferry Corsten etc...would play the more pop orientated mix. That's all. I'm not saying one is better than the other.

yes its more popish but i wouldn't say its "uplifting and melodic".

Maybe not like big epic trance tunes are, but more so than the Andy Gray remix is. It certaintly puts me in a pretty good mood while listening to it. It has a dreamy atmosphere, and with the guitar melody that goes throughout (which he basically uses for 90% of his remixes nowadays) it makes it melodic. If that is not melodic, than I don't know what is...cause it certaintly sounds like a melody to me.

Solarstone & Jes - Like A Waterfall
Luminary - Dark Eyes
Vinny Troia - Flow (Gareth Emery remix)
