Calling all artistic cors...
doing another photoshoot tomorrow, but we have no location...so far, we're gonna shoot at my friend's condo in the parking garage. i mean, i suppose it's a location, but i dunno. we need to get creative here with limited time.
i like the idea of displacement in photography. i have a really cool picnic basket and i was thinking of setting up a picnic in the parking garage and being all dressed up, sipping champagne. stupid?
we have limited options here, so i'm really all ears for ideas if any of you would like to throw some my way, i would greatly appreciate it!

I like picnic in the parking garage ![]()
What about being all dressed in a business suit at the pool/beach with the sun and such...or a bikini in the office?
edit // I would say doing something like dressing "clubby" or like you're going out and be on the beach...but that happens all the time in Miami
butcher shop! You'd look so sexy cutting big slabs of red meat!
Agree with bas.
I like the picnic idea, I don't know about the clothing though.
The garage will give you great shots esp. in B&W and you'll have more angels then you think you do. Once you get in there, you'll think of more ideas and such while in the process of shooting.
he has a nice pool area too. i could dress in winter clothes and be laying out at the pool.
i have this really cool faux fur vest and knee high brown leather pointy boots....so those with a bikini bottom? the vest is all brown colors so the boots will match and i have brown bathing suit bottoms and brown tinted sunglasses...
i also wanted to do something with DJ gear. my friend who lives there has equipment and i have records as props too. like headphones on in the garage...like i'm DJing in the parking garage or something?

top of buildings is always good. good scenery is key and a parking garage.. well, i mean it's cool, but some cool views are always nice.
Do the DJ thing in a laundrymat.
Set the tables up on a couple of washing machines, and throw a pair of boots in the dryer.
Slylee, audition for this and the nerds will flock:

Ooh I like the laundry dj idea, but I dont think they would let us set up there unless we knew them.
And the top floor of the garage is out in the open, but were doing the shoot around 4:30 and they are concerned with the lighting, so thats why were aiming for indoor locations.

Black & White works best in parking lots, or bright color clothes, because they stand out best...
LOL!
just looked at that link.
i saw a strange porn one time and it had jenna in it. they were dressed sort of like that, only the porn stars were getting banged by these ugly trolls. it was really weird.
Get some cheap 100w spotlights and white sheets to diffuse it if youre working inside otherwise having to rely on whats at hand and standard flashes which is never good. Really depends what youre after I suppose at the end of the day, something professional or something fun.
Just after fun go down too the op-shops and grab some stuff from the 50's
they have plenty of fancy lighting equipment. they know what they're doing pretty much, but it's just the idea part. they come up with pretty good stuff, but so do i. they're drawing blank now. they're both really busy with school and they told me to brainstorm because they haven't had much time to think of ideas.
1950's pillbox hat with the mesh over the eyes, beret if theyre scarce on hats, late 40's Dior style dress and jacket or mid 50's Chanel suit designs where always pretty classy and cool. Plus you can just stick everything under the hat and not have to fiddle around with hair too much.
word, pinup rocks
