for those of you who have never heard what it is, its basically a program you run that takes the information of every song you play and stores it in a database on http://last.fm. with this, it determines what your taste in music is, and allows you to find other users who have similar tastes that you can share music with, or just talk to or whatever. I'm sure there are other features too, but thats all I've really found so far :P

I just deleted my account.

I haven't used it in months. Got old pretty fast.

I've looked around on there, but never joined.

Whenever I searched for a song, it said that it was currently unavailable or something like that.

i hate that site, whenever i try to look for a song this useless site pops up with no relevance to what im looking for.

the whole idea is for them to recommend artists you haven't heard of, so that you can expand your tastes.

how would they know what to recommend?
naturally, they would recommend the same genre of music, but diff artists that you haven't heard of before

so
then you're just collecting more of the same type of music

not expanding your tastes what so ever
