Coffee / Tea Appreciation(Addiction) Thread

yes i am addicted to both. when i wake up, i have a cup of coffee, and after lunch, i have a cup of tea.

it started off slow in the beginning. at first, i was drinking coffee every morning, because i cannot function in the morning without coffee. my mind can't think straight, and i am think about coffee beans the whole morning. sounds like an addiction to me.

then, when the work place started adding tea bags in the kitchen, i started to make myself some tea in the afternoon. it started gradually, then a couple of days later, i started having it everyday. i am like damnit. i am addicted to coffee in the morning & tea in the afternoon everyday.

so this thread is for all the people who love coffee, tea, or both! what do you drink ?

as means of coffee, i either pick up a tall cup of regular starbucks coffee at the local starbucks, or get a cup at work (we have starbucks coffee beans in the kitchen. many addicts work with me. lol). sometimes, i make a cup of foldgers dark roast if i have time.

as means of tea, i am very picky about it. i have tried about 10 different types of tea at work, and i say it tastes bad. either the flavoring is nasty, or it doesn't taste like tea. i don't remember the name of the tea, but there's this nice asian ginseng tea i used to make way back when. i wish i remember the name now. that was the best tea i ever had. oh yeah . hot tea ftw.

Thumbs up

I ordered a pound of Scottish breakfast and English breakfast. Should be coming on Monday. I've been drinking regular black tea in tea bags, I hope the loose leaf taste a lot different, or better!

Good Earths Green/White tea blend

I got one of these Brew-In-A-Mug things for Christmas and getting loose leaf tea from the local Food Co-op. I got chai, and some raspberry kind this evening. So far the chai is good.

Mine is a plain white mug but same idea.

i'm a coffee addict
i knew who the new manager at the local starbucks was before one of the employees

also, i used to work there so i know everyone
but also i get to know new people so that they too will learn to give me free drinks

I used to be addicted to both. 4 Cups of black coffee and 2 cups of tea a day.
Then i found i needed to drink more and more caffine to feel active.
So i stopped caffine al together and just drank fruit teas...i was really cranky for about a week then i felt much better...You know when you can just jump out of bed and feel really awake.

I drink alot of fruit tea and red bush tea (both caffine free) i also occasionaly drink different Green Teas.

Coffee addict here too

And we have developed a certain tradition with it... no matter what's going on at the office, even our bosses are joining us now. At 7:30, 10:30am, 1pm and 3:15pm we religiously go to the coffee shop and spend some good 15 minutes talking about nonsense lol
