Is it just me, or does Ame do some INTENSE pitch bending to Insomnia for absolutely zero reason? I wanted to slap him.

Ame is Frank Weidemann & Kristian Beyer. They are German producers/dj's.

I stand corrected, then.

However, there's still some intense pitch-bending going on. Eurgh.

They aren't the best DJs around

No prob. I hate to come off like the board police. That's not me.

I have not heard this set . . . and from you all's reactions sound like I probably won't be.

Well to be fair, they do have some decent mixing in a couple of spots, and their track selection in the middle of the set is fecking awesome.

thank you for these

The song at 23 mins on the Digweed set is an ID for one of the songs someone posted on the Giant Review thread.... the one where I thought it sounded like a remix of Float Away.

whatever, just fyi.

Digweed's ALREADY playing these? Crap...delete from Beatport

08. Funk D'Void & Phil Kieran - White Lice [Soma Quality Recordings]

Good going Digweed on incorrectly ID'ing the track. It's a shame, because I was about to buy it.

Is it tick tick tick by the same artists?

Negatory. And unless Digweed just doesn't know how to pronounce 'lice,' he says during the show that it's White Light, so perhaps it's an unreleased deal. It doesn't sound like anything else I've heard from the two, though.

Digweed always throws out wrong IDs. Whether it's mispronouncing a name or just getting it way off, he does it all the time

I didn't, I just forgot to delete that one

Posted by Miss Julia on Jan-09-2007 16:34:

I'm confused. Why delete it once you find out Digweed is playing it?

Why would I want to play something Digweed's already been playing

I look up to the man but I don't want to be playing his tracks

Ya, that makes sense. If Digweed plays it and gives out track lists, then everyone else is going to go DL it and play it.

That's the Pitch & Hold track, but I don't remember hearing it at NYE.

I could have sworn someone posted a video of it on the review thread and was looking for an ID on it.
