Things you like & dislike about your favorite CLUB venue
OK, lets talk about your favorite LA venue. What do you like the most about it, what do you dislike, and what would you do to either change it or make it better?
Curious to read your opinions/comments. Oh and please lets not turn this into a bashing thread.
i like the fact that if my sweater gets dirty... i can walk through the washers and i'm all clean! 
Vanguard - Love space and sound. Hate - Bully Security guards
Cabana Club - Love outdoor ambiance. Hate - "Hollywood" doorman
Area -(same as Cabana)
Element - Love - venue, lighting, friendly security. Hate - Fact that the main room usuallly only plays Hip Hop and Top 40. (There is House Music w/ DJ Trevor James in the back room on Friday nights)
Vanguard. Best sound system in LA. Funktion One > *...that's right even Avalon's million dollar EAW. The Funktion One is so crisp, the bass doesn't overpower anything and it still hits hard. Awesome. Things I dislike...the bathrooms there suck unless you can make it upstairs to the 1-up lounge thingy.

SEVILLA's - LONG BEACH - KRYO!!! Need I say more? Nicest venue I ever played at. It's very elegant, very nice. It's also brand new. It's not a warehouse turned club, it's built from the ground up. The DJ Booth is the BEST DJ Booth I ever played on. So big, so spacious, monitors so crisp, and they have SERATO built in. The go-go cages are freakin awesome, the sound kicks ass, the go go dancers are HOT, and the venue is just amazing. What I don't like is how the DJ booth is on the second floor away from everything. Their cover charge is ridiculous.
SPUNDAE @ CIRCUSI Love the vibe, the tacos, and the people. I don't like when the sound guy comes and shuts you down.
VANGUARDFunktion 1 for the Win!!!! Dislike bathrooms and how crowded it gets when PVD plays there.
AVALONTheir visual productions are best by far!!! I like it how they go all loud every week. I dislike the bathrooms, the lines, the bouncers, and the topless d00ds walking around. Now, if they had topless HOT Women, than it would be a different story. Hehehe
BOILER ROOM @ QUEEN MARY - LONG BEACH I love the fact that they promote me on their radio commercials. They say my name on them all the time. I also Love the crowd, love the format, but I dislike how the bathrooms are on the second floor, the DJ booth sucks, but the visuals are amazing. They finally put me a DJ monitor and a new mixer this weekend. WOOHOO.
Love CIRCUS for its spacious rooms, vibe, and decor. Yummy food in the outdoor patio is a huge bonus! Nice & friendly bartenders, especially Ernesto! Now if only they had a Funktion 1 system!

Tentation - (+)Close to home, not so many familiar faces, dj's come on a decent time incase I am too tired. (-) Small
Circus -(+) Friendly staff, food, Ernesto, spacious, guestlist line, big patio (-) Parking on a packed night, the HEAT when it's hot
Avalon -(+) Open late, never the same crowd, easy to hide, places to sit (bleachers) (-)B.S lines when you get there late, no food, drinks are mediocre, no real place for fresh air
Vanguard - (+) Good bartenders, line + guestlist situation in good order, ample patio, a good intense-shake-your-whole-body-till-you-almost-passout-sound system, (-)Security guards, no food, no place to really sit, and Stupid 2AM HOLLYWOOD PROMOTERS that try to pawn tables off to you and talk to you like you are trying to get into HYDE, Les Deux or some stupid BS Celeb hotspot!

Love MOR BAR in santa monica, but the smell in the guys bathroom is enough to make the little hairs in your nose curl up.

Circus: love- the staff, the vibe, the people, the outdoor patio, the food, the drinks, ernesto but most of all i love, love, love the fact that the dj booth is right there and most djs hang around afterwards
(-) the sound system, after experiencing funktion 1 you can't enjoy other sound systems as much
vanguard: (+) the sound system!!!!! i love the bouncers, can't believe others have had issues with them. they have always been nothing but nice so far, the outdoor area, the furry wall by the bathrooms, the guest list and organization of the lines
(-) a somewhat "hollywood" vibe comes off of some of the people there and the dj feels too far away
avalon: (+) the talent they bring in or have brought in, places to sit, great people watching, desiree as a dancer
(-) crack alley, the washers, the severe crackheads, the shirtless guys, the lines out front
nacional: (+) the vibe, the dj booth, upstairs patio, the ambiance
(-) can get super packed and hot
Circus - tacos, people, ernesto, trance, the fact that I get to play there often.
bad - sound in the main room
avalon - sound visuals, balcony
bad - staff, people, that guy that trys to get a dollar everytime you go to take a piss
Vanguard - sound
bad - its fucking expensive, and packed.
Tentaion - sound, its 5 min from my house
bad - crowd isnt very knowledgeable or passionate about EDM IMO
they are worried about what they are wearing not what tunes are being played.
