Question Jewellery Experts help: GF's 21st Bday present

Ok, so my gfs 21st birthday is coming up.
She said she doesn't want a ring or a necklace. The bracelet i bought her 3.5 years ago is looking pretty beat up so im guessing she wants a new one.
Which one of the following looks the best...i dont want to get her anything too dainty.

1)

2)

3)

4)

4th one is preetty original

Just for the record...no pearl necklaces

2 and 3 are tacky, imo. 1 is nice, but looks too formal. 4 wins.

Less loops in it as possible, less chance of it getting caught on something.

21st birthday?

I'd go with 4.

2 is over-complicated. 3 is for the old crowd. 1 is for married folk.

Are her ears pierced? Why not get her a pair of diamond studs? She'll prolly get more wear out of them than a bracelet.

make sure they are non-conflict diamonds!

but dont the hearts on 4 make it married ( or engagement type ) material?

Don't mean to hate but these aren't my style so I won't answer to the original question

Oh, good idea. Studs are more casual than a bracelet.

lol @ Aristronica. Ya...you'll get the diamond popo after you.

I'd say. I'm doing my dissertation on some of the same issues, though in Angola rather than Sierra Leone. In de Beers' defense, the industry has come a long way since 1999.

Jackson, the hearts combined are cute. for the record, it just means unity, and if they feel as one, why not.

how about a nice silver watch? its something she will need every day, and everytime she looks at it, it will remember her about you.

it's great how everyone becomes politically aware after a movie is made on a particular subject.

Global Warming:
Al Gores 20 years late flick
Diamonds:
Blood Diamonds
Fast foods:
Supersize me

We need more movies to raise the publics awareness! Omg they are all clueless and unless something is blockbuster worthy then no one will ever wake up to the cruel unfair aspects of the human race!

This ain't a jab at you, it's just this whole passive "militantism" is pissing me off

Well, good, cause I started the dissertation in July.
