ahhh, man, are you serious? that's the end of the first season!?

i had a 6 episode watching marathon then couldn't wait for the new episodes to come OnDemand fast enough. And now I have to pray that it's renewed and shit?! That totally sucks.

The books are truly amazing. I actually read them before watching the show, which is good and bad. You know roughly how it will end but there was so much difference that it gives you something new. I just have to say the 2nd season is going to be insane as long as they follow the second book roughly. The show quickly became my favorite TV series of all time.

yes its renewed with a another 12 ep order, we'll have to wait till the summer to see them though.

I actually like the fact that there are only 12 episodes, it just means that all 12 episodes are most likely going to be amazing. Most other shows try to space out their plot points and end up filling the season with crap, or spanning time like 24 (although I do watch it ) Dexter is by far the best written show on TV at the moment...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's better than Lost, Prison Break and Heroes put together.

i'd have to go with the new battlestar galactica as my vote for best writen show, and dexter and lost as my 2ed and 3ed choice

You're not going out on a limb. The writing in those shows is a joke. Although Lost does have it's moments.

Dexter is definately amazing though. I just finished watching season 1 last week. I love the whole atmosphere of the show, and how they mix this dark humour with thriller/drama elements. The fact that it's set in Miami really tops it off.

I'm really looking forward to season 2, to see how they develop the character.

Oh ya I forgot about Battlestar...But it has the added bonus of special effects and hot chicks in space...Dexter is midly more plausible... But I would almost say that comparing those two show is like comparing apples to oranges...I love them both.

I hope you enjoy it but be careful...you might get sucked in and never study again...or at least until you finish the series...I'd be curious to know if you can watch just one episdode at a time.

i just watched 4 eps straight (well there was a half hour break in between cos my roomie wanted a copy)

early day tomorrow so i cant watch a 5th

what i love about showtime programs is that theyre closer to an hour long cos of less ads...more content ftw
