Beckham seals American dream
David Beckham will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and join side Los Angeles Galaxy on a �128million ($250 million) five-year deal - which works out at a mere half-a-million pounds a week.
David Beckham, the embodiment of Real Madrid's 'Galacticos' ethos, will be leaving the famous Bernabeu stadium.
The former England captain will leave Real in June and begin his new career in Major League Soccer in August.

Beckham said in a statement: 'This week, Real Madrid asked me to make a decision regarding my future and the offer to extend my contract by a further two seasons.
That works out to $350,000,000 AUD over a 5 year period, which is valued at about �500,000 (1.25 Million AUD) per week.
meh. id rather earn 10% of that playing for a real team.

they made the quarters in 2002, i dont think they will ever do better than that

my bad thought it was in 94!
i think they made the 2nd round in 94 and got knocked out by Brazil, i actually remember watching that game, bebeto scored late in the 2nd half and brazil won 1-0
going into germany they were ranked 5th i think...
back to beckham tho.. that is alot of cash, but i guess half that goes into keeping posh sexy. i reckon he should buy her some food.
