Dude, he had a bad show. One of those poeple were right about one thing. He feeds off of the crowd. Plus he had Dan open up for him. Two sounds that are too different to have one open for the other. Believe me, if the crowd is into it, Eddie won't let them down.

But you won't know one way or another since you will be in the bathtub with a matress over your head preparing for the cold weather coming tonight.

ha.... its more like my 3hr drive to Dallas when there are already frozen icicles hanging off my house... and a hotel and other factors...

i did make it down to LL for Marco V during the Feb 14th snow storm that hit Dallas in 04... but since i grew up on Florida, as soon as it started to snow i hung out by the door to LL and was in awe of the snow b/c I was more interested in the snow than the music (i hadnt seen snow in 12 years at that time)

but ya.. we probably have half an inch of ice on the roads already here in Lawton..

dunno -- the vegas gig didn't seem like a good fit, to begin with. he's absolutely about the crowd -- needs a hard venue where the people will go nuts and FIRE IT UP!

as for the weather, start praying to the party gods

I've never enjoyed any DJs who butcher turntablism as badly as he does. The worst part is all of the fanboys who think he can actually scratch which couldn't be further away from the truth.

I never thought he could scratch. Didn't even think he tried. I think he abuses the hell out of the mixer, though. But, I do like most of the tracks that he plays. So, I guess it's all what you pick and choose out of it. I guess you could really say that about a lot of DJ's though. Right?

"fanboys"! HA! I am stealing that.

i've got bigger things to worry about, like sleet and downsizing and $1800 mechanic bills. trying to stay positive instead of poking my eyes out. besides, i don't go to shows to criticize each moment. eddie's a blast to watch and plays great tracks -- it's going to be an ace night out with friends.

As I was saying, I like most of the tracks he plays.

I'm just here for the music man, just here for the music.

That's cool. I'm just a little bit obsessed with turntablism. Thats how I got my start as a DJ. And I wasn't talking about you guys mostly other people who talk about how great of a scratch artist he is. But I do respect if someone likes his music selection.

Oh I know. And I know what people you are talking about. The same people that have never once been behind the wheels at all.
