It's the Armin Alive tour. And it will be held at either Rodlaver or Vodaphone, as QB will be too small

Posted by tachyon on Jan-13-2007 22:29:

^^^ the news is good and all, but when is the armada tour going to be on, and will DJ Remy be in it?

Nothing can surpass his set at Gas during the GK tour with J00F. Doubt we will ever re-live a night like that. Whats he playing these days??

Dirty electro punk rock, with a touch of emo and a hint of lime

Posted by Jake willo on Jan-14-2007 21:46:

Wkd news!! be good to see one of his special 8 hour sets!!

Something to look forward too!!

Posted by 00soups00 on Jan-14-2007 22:13:

i doubt i will go unless it is one of those marathon sets. It may sound silly but i really dont want my opinions and memories of Armin to be soiled from seeing him live nowadays. Last time i saw him was at QBH in 2004 and it was mad. Time before that was at The Guvernment in Toronto and before that in 2002 at ZOS.

I truely think if i see him nowadays i will be bitterly disappointed.

[two tribes doesnt count because i didnt stick around to watch]

Posted by Ghostface on Jan-14-2007 23:05:

How is QBH big enough for Sasha & Digweed but not Armin, is Armin really that big currently? Six hours at QBH was pretty mad so despite my changing tastes I will probably go along for a bit of fun.

Armin bigger than S&D? Of course, he'll easily sell alot more tickets than them.

Posted by eRRaTiK on Jan-15-2007 00:22:

yes sadly the ASOT minions (bedroom djs *cough*) are far more than those that know of the great Sasha & Digweed, in Oz anyway.

I hear what you're saying S0ups. I saw Armin at Future Musical Festival last year and I didn't enjoy the set at all.

Posted by Fledz on Jan-15-2007 00:49:

Mixed feelings about last years set. Some moments were fantastic and some moments were rather boring. Hopefully he delivers.
