keeping vinyl during those hot summer months...

is there any extra care for my vinyls that i should know when the summer comes? first of all, my room isn't very well ventilated and could get quite hot and stuffy during the late afternoon, early evening hours. does anyone know how hot it can get in the room before the record starts warping?

Good Question M.A.R.K , I was wondering that too, i dont have a Records BAG, my Room has Air conditoned, but i keep thems when im not using inside the closet, maybe is bad idea?, what is better outside the closet with the air conditoned or inside wurh closed in warm temperature?... well... i just approach the opportunity of ask this as well like MARK,

What can be worst. COLD or HOT?
Thanks.

Hot, coz cold doesn't do anything to it (not as much as hot, I guess). if a record's warped, you're warped too.

Id like to know too, It gets quite hot during the summer around here and always gets stuffy inside. Whats the most heat a record can take before warping?

As long as you're not placing your records in direct sunlight during the summer months, I don't see why they would warp at all. I know how east coast summers can feel, and sometimes in LA, it gets pretty hot (not humid). I just leave them in my room whereever it's shaded without leaving them against the wall (the wall feels like it attracts a lot of heat). Your closet should be fine.
