Review: Peter Bailey @ Sonic.
another insane nite! not as many ppl as i expected, but wow, what a nite. another nite of non-stop groving! more than enough room to dance, good mix of ppl, LOTS of luv & energy in the room....
music was top notch, lots of build-ups with awesome tracks. it felt like a orgasm that just wouldn't end...
also there were quite a few older tracks in the begining of the nite, it's always nice to hear them.
however, the ape-man w bad b.o & extened gut was there again eyeing jeff down like a piece of meat again, LMFAO! that was the added highlight of the nite...
oh man... drank... too much... at the bar and at toibar...

Peter Bailey and Richie Santana came on earlier than expected at 3am, which was great. The 30-minute turns at the decks was cool, and they kept the vibe rolling right til' the end at 8am. There is no question in my mind that these guys are going to have a HUGE year -- definitely two A-List DJs to watch this year...
It was also wicked to see them both out on the dance floor enjoying themselves in the last hour...first class guys...
BTW, it was the first time I can remember that there were more women than men at Sonic...must have been a result of the punishment that Calderone dropped the night before...

Impressed that Jeff actually made it out at all (dude, biggest smile on my face when I saw you)
This party was a last minute decision for me, I'm glad I made it out after a night of work.
I was excited to see Peter Bailey. He was in T.o. in the summer and he ruined me. He dropped my definition of tribal that night.
The set wasn't what I expected. Although there were great tracks dropped, I found the flow wasn't completely there. I think the fact that the club wasn't entirely full added to the lack in hype but overall I had an awesome night!
I also received my first pic with a DJ. Thanx boys for making an apprearence on the dance floor!
This was a pretty good party, but I was beat up from Calderone the night before.
I must give mad props to both Peter Bailey and Richie Santana. These men have produced some dirty, dirty house music in the past year and I think each time they come back to Sonic a bigger crowd will come with them.
Being a huge Peter Bailey fan I had a lot of high expectations that weren't quite met on Saturday. I know I shouldn't do that going into a party but the guy can deliver and I'm not saying he didn't.
I think you could definitley tell when Peter and Richie switched it up and as someone mentioned it really took away from the flow of the music. Bailey played his signature dark pounding tribal while Richie played what I call generic tribal that goes no where.
The crowd and party were great it was the music that ultimatley pushed most of my crew out the door.
Sonic - Please bring back Bailey in the summer by himself. merci.
