everybody talks about female vocals in a trance track.

How about male vocals some songs are preety cool with male vocals like tatana words. what do u guys think are the top trance songs with vocal performances.

Male vocals are usually not good for a trance track however sometimes they are.
Take a look at 'system f - soul on soul' no one can stand the vocals in this
but then there's stuff like faithless that has tolerable male vocals pretty much because it is just talking

Jam and Spoon - Be Angeled (PvD Club mix)

really depends on how the vocals are used. male/female can both make a track better, and ruin it.

The only song which has male vocals I really can enjoy (recalled offhand after studying 4+ hours for a Math test) is Don't Give Up by Chicane with the ever grizziled Bryan Adams on vocals.

in most every music genre male and femal vocals can work well.
I believe that although trance has more female vocals, it can work with male vocals as well.

some male vocals that worked for me that i know the names of:

*ballroom - come along (#4 on Magik 7 by Tiesto)
*New_Order-Crystal (several good remixes of this song, played by many top dj's)

TH Planet Funk - Inside All The People (Lee Coombs Vocal Mix)
Kai Tracid - Too Many Times

You guys could not be MORE wrong. Amoeba Assassin's Rollercoaster is great, and Piledriver is even better. I think it's a very powerful track, "like a car crash in the rain". They don't sound cheesy, and they are SO not gay.

I was going to bring up Piledriver....it's an amazing track. The vocals are just great and sorry but they just wouldn't be the same if it was a female singing.

Tho like Neo I am also a sucker for female vocals

Well IMO Jam & Spoon - Be Angeled is a good example of why male vocals in trance simply do not work, those vocals just do not gel well with the music.

However there are trax where male vocals are well suited,
