Track Preview: NIN - Hurt (Dave Molina Heavy Remix)
Did this over the weekend for a couple shows in Laredo and Austin. I still need to add some audio and do a proper mixdown, but I wanted to get some TXTA forum feedback. I'll post the full track for download when its finished.
Sample at www.myspace.com/davemolina
Suck it, Dirk.

LOL
Its customary to throw in some type of cheap shot whenever I make a post. You know this.
Thanks for checking it out though. It seemed dark in the beginning and when I changed to the "What have I become...." lyrics (not posted), it got kinda postive.
We can't have that. This is angry music.
Dave sounds cuttin. now just waiting for a Head like a hole remix with that same bass beat or closer remix. Girls would love that one, sounds great! cheers
doesn't work for me M8
Trent's voice just doesn't lend itself to what you are trying to do.
whatever emotion the song carries, is lost in the remix.
of course most rock songs should just be left alone, they are hardly ever done well i think.
but a good example of what works is.
APC - 3 libras (all main courses mix)
He takes the original, which is a gem on its own right, and tweaks it masterfully; playing on the brooding beats, teasing the lyrics, building a proper crescendo, until all we have is silence.
