Andre LeFort - January 2007 Promo [Trance]

Well, it's a new year and I am definitely late. Has been an incredibly busy month so far, and have finally managed to put some time aside for my January Promotional Mix.

This mix deviates slightly from the tones I was pushing near the end 2006, but it is most certainly still proper Trance. I decided to start off a little more experimental, and began with an incredibly well crafted intro mashup by XDR (aka xiJaro). Not a huge fan of the songs individually, but his touch made them golden. From there on, the next 3 songs take you through a euphoric Trance state, leading into my song of 2005: Vivagio (Danjo & Styles on the Remix). The tone quickens and broadens slightly from here on, with an excellent remix by Gareth Emery. The next 3 songs have more of an edge, providing an immense amount of energy...no waking soul can resist the power of Jochen Miller's Remix of Polarity by Silent Electra.

I hope this new year brings you all the best of luck in everything you undertake!

Tracklist:

01. Whiteroom - The White Room ('Jump the Next Train' Scott Bond vs XDR Intro)
02. Ferry Corsten - Galaxia
03. Acues & Elitist - Zonderland (Carl B's In a Lonely Place Mix)
04. Sasha Da Link - High Tension (Envio Remix)
05. Epos - Vivagio (Danjo & Styles Remix)
06. Activa ft. Aled Mann - In Essence (Matt Hardwick vs Smith & Pledger Remix)
07. Mike Foyle - Shipwrecked (Gareth Emery Remix)
08. Selu Vibra - Stargazing (Maor Levi Remix)
09. Silent Electra - Polarity (Jochen Miller Mix)
10. Thomas Bronzwaer - Shadow World (Midway Remix)

Looks interesting...

Edit:

I just previewed all of the tracks and I think this sounds really great as a melodic mix. I might post a review when I get done listening to it later on.

Downloading now, sir!

Finishing up this mix now! I enjoyed it very much. Mixing, phrasing, and EQing were all tight. Track selection was very enjoyable too. There's a lot of energy in this set. And that Epos track pwned me.

Nothing critical to offer, sir. Just good trance and good mixing.

Really good mix this, probably the best i've heard from you on the mixing side of things. Everything pretty tight and the eqing is generally pretty good. Track selection is pretty spot on, although the intro of 3 mins is way to long imo. Also felt that Acues & Elitist - Zonderland (Carl B's In a Lonely Place Mix) was played to early!!

Thanks for the kind words! I have to agree, the intro felt too long for me as well, but felt I wanted to explore something different. As for the technical side of things, I definitely agree that this is probably my best effort to date.

Thanks for taking the time to listen!

Listening right now.. First of all, you picked out a lot memorable tunes! Starting with the first "JTNT Intro".. Love it!
Track 2 nice! "Zonderland", track 3 great!!! But I didn't like the mix between 2 and 3.. Mixing "Zonderland" in too fast imo..
But overall, a real trance mix! And really enjoyed it

Good skills, lovely trance tunes!! Keep it up!
