According to TOTAs, he killed it last time he was here.

So annoyed that I missed out.

personally, i didn't care for him too much (style wise)...he played a couple of really good songs but for the most part it just wasn't my style. however, his technical ability is on par and he was definintely making the crowd move.

Kaskade seems to have largely abandoned the soulful deep house sound that he made his trademark in favour of a more commercial sound.

I have seen him twice in the last year, and while he did play
a lot of his classic deep house stuff like "It's You It's Me" and
"Everything (Big Room Mix)" to please the crowds, he also played a lot of electro-house crap like Freeform Five - No More Conversations (Mylo Mix).

Most recently, I saw him play here in Sydney on New Years Day. He
started the set off with a sick tune (Pete Heller - Simpler), but his set was kinda all over the place and didnt really flow so
much. He played a lot of electro house once again, including tracks
like Chris Lake - Changes and Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit.

I still had a good time listening to his set, but he lost me in the middle for a while.

saw him in the fall of last year and it was one of the worst sets i've ever heard, if i had been driving that night i would have left the club early.

terrible eq'ing - waaaaay overboard on the highs

every single song was vocal popish house

to each his own i guess

Well he produces vocal house that is on the popish side so that's what he plays in his sets...including his own productions. Sure some DJs might play different stuff than what they produce, but he's typically played a mixture of more underground deep house, with more mainstream vocal house and electro house. Almost every track he produces has vocals.
