Hello! Allen & Heath announces new 2007 DJ software called "Xone Mixed In Key"

Dear Friends,

Allen & Heath has announced new DJ software called "Xone Mixed In Key". Based on the original design created by DJ Yakov and several other TranceAddicts about one year ago, Xone Mixed In Key scans your music files and shows you which songs are harmonically compatible. The benefit to the DJ is extremely smooth mixing. Xone Mixed In Key helps you eliminate key clashes, muddy mixes and out-of-key elements from your DJ sets.

Mixed In Key is currently used by thousands of DJs including Pete Tong, Deep Dish, Dean Coleman, Kuffdam & Plant and many more. Mixed In Key also hosts an active harmonic mixing community where DJs can improve their DJ mixing. Now that Xone Mixed In Key is part of Allen & Heath's software line-up, we can combine world-famous DJ equipment with our fastest growing DJ software for harmonic mixing.

Press release from Allen & Heath:

XONE ENABLES DJS TO MIX IN KEY

Allen & Heath, manufacturer of the leading Xone mixer range, has teamed up with Mixed In Key to offer new software which enables DJs to analyse and harmonise tracks. This partnership is the first seamless integration of top-class mixing equipment with the fastest growing DJ application on the market.

Xone Mixed In Key is Windows / Mac OS X software that allows DJs mix in total harmony. It analyses MP3 and .WAV files, identifies the key of a track, and highlights which other tracks are harmonically compatible. Xone Mixed In Key allows the DJ to discover harmonically-compatible songs in their music collection. The benefit is extremely smooth mixing with no key clashes.

Xone Mixed in Key is a fantastic innovation for DJs, and eliminates the time-consuming and laborious task of manually detecting the root note of every track. Allen & Heath has a golden reputation in the DJ community, and we're excited to offer Xone Mixed In Key software to a wider audience, writes Mixed In Key president, Yakov Vorobyev.

The explosion of digital DJing over the past couple of years has introduced a wealth of technical advantages to the art of DJing. Xone Mixed In Key is a case in point. DJs have instant access to thousands upon thousands of new music files and this software can quickly and easily enable them to put tracks into musical context, concludes Xone designer, Andy Rigby-Jones.

Cheers,
Yakov

Anyone thinking about buying this should check out the free demo of Mixmeister and another free program called Rapid Evolution. Save yourself a few bucks.

www.mixmeister.com/ the demo will key and bpm and mix but during the mix it will stop intermittently and a voice will say it is the demo (doesn't matter if you're just using it to tag key and BPM info)

Haven't you posted enough useless sh*t already? I understand it may have been a little overboard doing it in MD as well, but this is the DJ booth forum and it definitely pertains to the discussion. I for one am interested in it and may not have learned of the product until he posted it here, regardless of his intentions of posting it. Seriously man, you need to grow up.

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Jan-17-2007 21:52:

Yeah, because this is the first time this has been posted on this forum as well, right?

Oh wait...

Posted by DOOMBOT on Jan-17-2007 21:53:

Oh wait, I may have missed it the first time. I'll say it again, grow up.

it's still spam. basically what you're saying is that spam is ok if you feel that it benefits you somehow?

Posted by Mr.Mystery on Jan-17-2007 21:55:

Miss it one time, shame on me. Miss it seven times...

Really. This guy is nothing but a spammer. And his mediocre software isn't nearly as accurate as he claims it to be, which has been proven every single time he decides to "inform" us with this fantastic software.

how the fuck can you support spam? i just can't understand no matter how it try!

what if the forum would be 95% full of spam of "essential dj software that'll make your djing 100 better" that don't do what they promise? you'd like that? if so then you're here for the wrong reasons. this is a forum for discussion, not for advertising your products (at least that's how i see it).

Meh, I fail to agree. Yes, when people come here from other companies to spam their websites and forums or whatever that have NOTHING to do with DJing or this music, I agree. But this really shouldn't be considered spam the way he brings it to the table I believe. But to each his/her own I guess.
