meh imo, there isn't enough activity in CO/UT/AZ to warrent it's own forum, cruise by atlanta if you want an example of what i mean.

i'm sure you could start an "Colorado 2007 Events Thread" a la the SFTA's and have swamper sticky it, seems more fitting imo dont ya think?

the thread was well past it's prime/purpose imo. beyond the occasional 'x dj is playing at x venue' heads up, the only thing that ever got posted was a post every other day or so of stupid shit (myself included). no one bullshits w/ each other in the thread anymore now that pretty much every active cota either a) talks to each other on a fairly regular basis or b) goes through myspace. as foss said, an events thread ala SF would be much more appropriate, with much less shit for ourselves or outsiders to wade through when you're actually looking to find out who's playing. if everyone's so fuckin bent out of shape over this i'll ask swamper myself to sticky a co events thread, though i think chad or kris would be the best to start the thread itself as they're the ones who actually look at the agency pages to see who's playing when...

i'm not really sure why you're so upset anyways, the only time you'd ever grace our thread with your presence over the last year or 2 would be once every few months to basically speak to chad about coming to boulder

We should just organise a west coast events thread. However I think swampy would have to mod someone to change the first post. but it could be organized as such to list events for CO, sf, la, sd, vegas, utah (they have parties?), and where ever. this is instead of a sf parties sticky next to a co sticky next to a la sticky next to ...i guess thats it.

I would def be down for managing that - whatever combo it is. I am a compulsive DJ booking site checker.

If you sticky a thread, the person who made it can edit it freely without having to be a mod - at least, the first post they can.

i like this suggestion a lot, it would certainly cut down on forum clutter.

reserve the forum for roll call//review//tej's DL posts//misc bs etc.

if anyone hasn't checked out what rich has done w/ the 2007 SF event thread i highly suggest that you do, it looks fucking slick imo

Made a thread with the CO, AZ, NV, & UT dates on it.

There's a good amount for UT, surprisingly.

i thought at some point in time you lose the ability to edit a post. I think its a long time, but you still lose it. must check with swampy though.
