Review: B*tchslap with Hatiras, Mandy J and Sydney Blu @ Fly. January 19th

All in all a great evening -- fun tunes, great company and energy and a lot of dancing!!!

Hatiras, Mandy J and Syd Blu did a fine job on their sets/performances...considering the kind of crowd they catered to last night, they spun a mixed bag of prog, electro, and tribal house which got the crowd dancing for majority of the evening

The crowd on the whole was pleasant and friendly...soooo great dancing with the TAs -- Cribbs , Sasha, Farah (thank you for the shot), Dallas (so sad you had to leave early), Bojana, Sean, Andrew (your flagging skills just wow me everytime!), Gelly (danceoffs...woo hoo!!!!), and trance_ultima

I do hope the TA who got injured (b/c a piece of the loose plastic railing fell on her head) is okay

I was thinking about leaving early to go to TiL but considering the fun (from the music and overall vibe) I was having that night I couldn't help but stay and enjoy the rest of it

Great vibe, and a very nice and mixed crowd!
Had tons of fun... now im passing out at work... all worth it!

I am glad you guys had a good time though.

Besides the incident with lady Trisha, I had a blast (although I missed dancing to Aqualight...which was tune of the night, but I'm not complaining.)

She should be ok, wasn't anything too serious, but the bump on her head was pretty swollen.

I keep laughing when I say it to myself, but I love Fly. Venue was nice, especially the multifloor aspect. Lighting and smoke has got to go...but it isn't an afterhours. Crowd rocked yesterday...it was mixed albeit the boys were still roaming around in the majority. Beautiful people all around, and I feel sorry for girls like Jax who can't have what they saw. lol. Good share of TAs out; they made the night what it was as usual. Dancing was enjoyable...and there were many moments of ridiculousness! Sets were great and all, but Sydney's closing set really did it for me...

Look forward to the next Bitchslap event at this place, but I also wouldn't mind checking it out on a regular night

Yup. Fly has changed a lot since last time i was there. I really liked the crowd last night and new layout with the dj booth on the main floor is fkn awesome! I didnt mind the lighting, its very European! But i have to agree on the smoke part... I'm afraid that about 50% of my pictures got fucked cause of all the smoke. it was too much.

nice seeing all of you crazy people, Chris, Jaaax, Gelly, Bojana, Farah, Andy, Sean, Dallas, Gabi, TK and Pat (hope you are ok).

To start off it was really nice meeting all the TA's last night, chris jacky, endlesssummer - if it wasnt for your socks i dont know what id do haha and everyone else.

It was my first time at FLY and i had an amazing time, the club itself is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so good. Sydney and Hatiras did a sicck job, i was so impressed with their sets.
i went insane when proper education and rub were dropped, the few select songs i could dance to since i had that little shoe problem hahahaha.
and the gay boys..oh the boys haha, jacky i feel your pain, i dont know why ALL of them had to be beauuuutiful
it was so nice talking to sydney after, she was sooo sweet.
all in all i had an amazing time.

chris, definitely had a good time with u and geli at coffee time LOL

Well this was my first time at Fly/ Gay club, and man do I love gay pple lol. The vibe was awsome and the club was very nice itself. I could definitely see myself going there again!!!

To be honest the set that Hatiras threw down was just OK. Don't get me wrong I was still up front all night with sticky_shoes, Cribby, Sasha and Sean...I danced my ass off as usual. I can't help it...I love George...but I have heard many better sets from him before...What I liked about his set is that "it was Hatiras"...his own destinctive sound...and the fact that he was having a good time...

Sydney was ok to me as well...can't really comment on her's b/c we couldn't stay till the end...I'm sure that it got much better...and I wish I could have stayed. Mandy has an amazing voice and the girl just looks like a plain sweetheart

Overall I give it 8/10...everyone should go here...i had a blast, and there was so many nice pple there....Thank you Sasha for taking me out to this event

I absolutely love FLY....the crowds just AWESOME (kindda depressin due to the whole u can look but u cant realllly touch concept of it lol) and the music...oh DEAR the MUSIC...... Hatiras was siiick and sydney... wat can i say .. DIRTY DIRTY SET like always!! I was soooo impressed.
