Food Poisoning

Only once or twice have I fallen to the wrath of sketchy cooking, the most memorable one being to KFC last month. Can we say Fever Dreams?

Anyone else?

KFC in Ibiza is just plain wrong.

My ex bit into a nicely raw chicken burger that he purchased in the west end. I swear the bird was still bleeding!

I've had food poisoning from a dodgy burger van burger before. Couldn't get outta bed for 2 days. Ideal

I was pretty much in that condition last month. Sorry to hear you went through such an ordeal.

It was years ago now but thanks.

Do you guys get those stalls that sell burgers and hot dogs at night time ready for when you leave a club? Well it was from one of those anyway and I have to say I'm pretty sure they aren't all that worried about hygiene.

Oh yeah, outside Club Space in Miami they have hot dog venders, and outside Spundae or the late Club Heaven (in Los Angeles), they had some kind of speciality hot dogs or pizza...forgot what exactly. Sketchy food venders to say the least.

i had eaten my last meal in vancouver before my flight to vegas, and stomach started to hurt, and the next 3 days in vegas i was going to the washroom every 3 hours or so. good thing theres plenty of washrooms in every building.

I've eaten all kinds of feral gunk and seem to have had no ill effects from it, don't eat a lot of highly processed food and never have so it might have toughend up my immune system to the point nothing lives long enough to breed, be fruitful and multiply in my tummy.

Course, thats just really invoking Sod's law to come kick the proverbial sometime soon...

I think a lot of what most people is basically low-grade poison with processed food and all.

Heh. One of my friends went to Tibet and brushed his teeth with the local tap...

He was fine for the first 6 hours, but man, it all fell apart then.

Since then, he's never had any sort of gastrointestinal problems, probably due to some 'super bug' he picked up then. =D

I hope you learnt your lesson. The worst things i've ever heard about come from turkish places, including one shop who refilled bottled water from their hosepipe tap then put it back in store to sell to tourists. eurgh.

My worst was a bad salad from a restaurant in lanzarote, a couple who we met on holiday ate with us, and those 2 & me had the same meal on the last night & we were all sick all plane trip home, and I had the squits for about a week afterwards. try going 20 times a day for 7 days

Did you actually look at what you were eating?

Sating that, this was the first time I went, back in 2004. Maybe things have improved.

I had the fortune of having alcohol poisoning and food poisoning at the same time. Diohorrea-a-rama. That was a couple of shitty (hoho) days.
