Magdelayna pres. Starfall - Amnesty *sample*
Hello there...after working on a few remixes recently, this is my first original track for a few months, focusing on an uplifting melody and a bit more pumping than my previous stuff (espeically the first half of the song)
heres a sample of the main melody and near the end of the song...
Any feedback & comments appreciated

Really uplifting and driving, indeed! Nice and dreamy melody. The vocal is cool! Sounds good!

Good feeling in the track.... Like the chilled stuff.... the vocals are ok i guess.... but it sounds little empty for me.... add more pads or somethin....
Good luck
Nice production, melody and stuff sounds a bit standard to me.
Thanks for the comments...ive just been sorting out a stronger bassline today
hey adam.
this is very nice trance. amazing pads and a very energetic percussion style. - maybe add some variation here and there on the percs. but i love the fullness you are getting now man. your percs remain in the same style but you mixing has improved and increaced their function in creating drive. id like this if it was slightly slower without the vocal samples..
good work mate
Thanks for the comments Rich..
Ive put a sample on myspace now with different sections of the song..

Productions great quality, the tune dosnt grab me though and there could be more going on.
To be honest it actually reminds me of the old DJ Taucher stuff.. which can be taken as either a compliment or otherwise.
Taucher's stuff was melodic but also sounded a bit empty at the same time, so the tracks he produced took you to a degree of heightened emotion but never any farther.
Good stuff, I'm liking some of the sounds but it doesnt follow a distinct melodic patch so it ends up confusing me enough to want to stop dancing.
Otherwise, production quality is getting much better than some of your older stuff mate... keep up the good work.

Thanks deaus & Eternal for the comments - i agree my production quality is a lot better now hehe - its all a learning curve with the software...the comments about it sounding quite empty surprises me a bit as i though my stuff was sounding fuller - been working hard on improving percs etc. - although ive probably been listening to my stuff too much and not comparing to other songs hehe
Although i always concentrate on getting a good melody going first or else i dont carry on finishing a song - thats the root & basis of a track after all..
