Macker & Andy Thomas - Star

At college I have to produce an album, so this track is a collaboration between me & another lad in my class. I did 95% of the production work, he did vocals and the electric guitar.

Listening:

Nice strings are fading in, together with some increasingly mixed vocals.

A beat and guitar is introduced along with more vocals, the vocals sits pretty good in the mix.

The Chorus is very good. works nicely. Track has a poppy feel, but not quite. Deeper progression, and with more subtlety than a pop track.

Very well produced. The guitar solo fits very well.

the whole production could have sounded better.. it kinda lacks that extra 10% of clarity. especially in the vocal section.

But excellent job overall.
