Does anyone feel sorry for Ding Junghui?

I do, but I'm a ronnie fan through and through so I'm also happy

the culture is a huge shock to the poor lad. Hopefully the huge ovation he got after the match will help him to feel a bit better. He's stuck in the uk, speaking little to no english, the only advantage is that he can eat & socialise with chinese people away from the snooker hall fairly easy. He has a huge raw talent though, so I'm hoping he'll be able to fully learn english & play some good matches

Yes, I do. A lot of the crowd were being utter dickheads.

Posted by Lira on Jan-21-2007 22:49:

What happened to him? And, more importantly, who is he?

he was struggling with the london crowds actions, they're loud & annoying

The crowd always do that in London from Jimmy Whote to the Rocket. To be honest if I was them I'd hate it too, think Ronnie was by the end too. But the poor lad was nearly in tears, should have had thouse loosers the first thing they shout out.

Just not acceptable in Snooker where your whole game is basicly based upon focus and bottle.

Noy a great advert for the British people (not been a great week with BB and that either). India proebly thinks we're all racists because of BB not China... well done gotta be about 1/3 of the population of the world against us in one week (I know HUGE exaggeration but hey... lol).

Hahahaha no Pool is a kids game compared to snooker. Playing pool after a game of snooker is always funny (espcially on US tables) the pockets are like buckets.

I don't give a fuck what you like or dislike. I've seen pieces of dog shit in the street that are more significant than you. You are the perfect synonym of a steaming pile of vomit. A complete and utter waste of a mouth to feed. Get the fuck off the internet you pointless wanker.

Oh and Northern Crowds are the best example of good behaviour?

The crowd were out of order.

Posted by bas on Jan-22-2007 23:28:

There's actually "crowds" at snooker matches? Wow.

Posted by Pheobius on Jan-23-2007 11:33:

I think the final had the largest crowd for a snooker event ever, it was pretty big.
