Sound Quality check between djm 600 and 300
Just wondering for those who own a djm 300, how does the audio quality compare to that of a djm 600?
Thanks
i had a djm 300, i've never put the 300 beside the 600 in a direct test, but i can tell you that the 300 is only an average sounding mixer at best imo, 600 is much better from my experience as i've played on both on quite alot.
i had a djm-300 too and i didn't really find anything wrong with the sound on it at the time. then i bought a vestax pcv-175 because for some reason i didn't like the djm-300 and i also wanted a mixer where you don't hear the eq changes in the headphones. turns out one of the main reasons i didn't like the djm-300 was the sound quality. it just didn't sound any good compared to the vestax even. i found it much easier to mix on the vestax and it was easier on the ears too.
wow thanks for the replies
i actually own both a djm600 and a djm300, and ill tell u the sound quality is somewhat noticeably better on the 600, but the djm300 still gives a pretty decent quality, definitely not enough to bother the ears. in other words, the 600 slightly sounds better than the 300, but definitely not a significant difference IMO

On the djm300, it only gives it to u as 3 buttons: line 1, line 2, master....not a biggy for most people, shouldn't affect the quality of the mixes u do from it, but just thought i'd mention. |
ur welcome
