Guv horn? Love it or hate it?

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I'm fairly new here. Thoughts anyone?

Guv horn is best. I love it.

I want to install one in my garage.

Ah yes. The runaway freight train sound.

Love it (When not done excessively)

I've heard of people who have actually done that, apparently it's illegal (with reason).

Trucks have it, why can't cars (or garages)?

LOL me too! I've always wanted one on my car aswell. Hell if they are only allowed on trucks then I guess a truck is the next thing I buy lol.

haha, it scared the absolute shit of of me the first time I heard it too. I'm pretty sure I was on the stage the first time I heard it as well.

Exactly. HATE it but if it's done maybe once a night it's alright...any more would just excessively piss me off.

Posted by Playa24_7 on Jan-23-2007 12:06:

It always scares the crap outta me when it goes off the first time haha. It's so loud! Sometimes it adds to the crazyness, but sometimes not lol.

Posted by zokissima on Jan-23-2007 12:43:

Its a staple noise. A night at the Guv would not be complete for me if the horn was not sounded.

Posted by Irishaddict on Jan-23-2007 12:44:

If it was used more conservatively you could probably put me on the 'I don't mind it list', but for the simple fact it seems incessant most of the time I'm there.. I really don't like it.

Posted by devnull on Jan-23-2007 13:56:

i hate it!

altho i wish i could hang one of those to someones alarm clock as a prank lol

Posted by CAKE on Jan-23-2007 14:09:

i don't like it

Posted by Jer on Jan-23-2007 14:14:

Don't mind it when used properly.

Good: Used during the breakdown of 'Compadre' [SvD Remix] a couple years back. That shit was dope. Absolute madness ensued.

Bad: Used during the build of, say, some kind of melodic something-or-other. That's a no-no.

Exactly. Many times I have been in the middle of an amazing song, then all of a sudden the fucking horn blasts and it ruins my state.
