a nice mackie active system will take care of the loudspeakers, x-overs, and amps. then all you need are some XLR cables a mixer and maybe a direct box or two and you're good.

how much of that 80k are you using for audio? im sure you will also have to buy a few big screens and some video distribution equip.

I've done club sound installs before and with $80,000 you can do some serious damage!!! I recomend you hire someone that has experience with this. Where is the club at? How big is the venue? Can you give us more specifics?

Don't forget that in a serious setup like this you really need take a look at the acoustics. I think you might have to hire some professional help in that department but for now just use google. Nothing is worse than a club where the acoustics are so bad that even though it's not that loud all the bouncy high end hurts like a mofo.

I know this'll probably end up with me getting flamed...

But PLEASE, PLEASE put a thought into a) A monitor in the DJ booth - but more importantly, b) Cable runs.

Try to work out exactly how you're going to run your cabling from amps to speakers etc - and make sure you work in conjunction with any refits the club's getting, so you can either hide them, stick them in and out of walls, or cover them.

Nothing worse than a blunted clubber seeing your XLR cable, and giving it a good yank...

on that note, make sure your speaker stacks are set up properly and not in a position where clubbers can get on them and injure themselves....

but u really should give some more specifics before people can comment more...size and expected capacity would be a start i.e. (dancefloor? chillout area? bar? rooms?)
