Ableton live DJ is a great site and all...

But the only informative stuff for a beginner on there is which controller to buy, they're all too oober l337 to answer questions that dont involve side-chaining a feedback loop in your return channel with your GUP1-SC plugin set to OpTo and ReCall

Get a book on Ableton. The "power" series book has a chapter for how to DJ in ableton:

Ableton Live 5 Power

It says it's for version 5, but the difference for 6 aren't so hard to figure out from the ableton docs.

only because we've answered the questions 600000000000 times over, we're not individual tutors. if you can't figure it out between the manual and all the endless tutorials online you're not worth our time.

Do you guys know where I can find an Arrangement Tutorial? I need to do a mix this week for a shot at a job at a radio station. If it all goes well, I will have to do mixes all the time.

I tried Acid last night. It was super easy, but I wanna mess around with ableton.

So how does Armin do his radio show every week. Basically I want to learning warping and sequencing all the tracks together to make a 1 hour mix. Anyone has a quick tutorial??

That's pretty much the same thing I asked! hehe

Has anyone checked out the info on this forum:

http://www.ableton-live-fans.com/fo...isplay.php?f=25

Some fella just emailed me asking about Ableton Live, so I found that (I don't use it, so don't really have the info to give him). It looks as though it'll contain the info you're looking for...

Let me know if you think it's a mistake to pass that on to him.

By the way, I found the site just by typing 'Warping with Ableton' into Google...
