Makes you sad when you just get into a scene and people talk like it died before you graduated primary school.

Simply amazing......
This is going to sound kinda weird coming from someone like myself who is barely old enough to be out seeing the scene for what it is now but the whole "the scene is dead" isn't all that true.
Iv spoken and had good conversations with people who have been involved in the scene since the days of Chicago house and the days of UK acid house. These people have had large rolls in organising some of Australia's biggest underground raves yet even they don't think the scene is all that "dead".
I'm not saying that the old parties were not amazing but the fact that it was new to Australia added allot to what they where.
My short little rant is just basically stating that although the old parties where good it doesn't mean we have to give up on a new generation of parties.
I know it has been brought up before but if even those who organised those parties will say the scene is not really dead then that is what I want to believe. I don't want to just enter a scene that's meant to be dyeing.
Dance music is always evolving and that fact will create a commercial scene but along side that will spawn a new generation of underground parties.
Then how come all that ElectroHouse and shit is played everywhere. Nahhh It'll never be the same again. After seeing the last Two Tribes gave the Rod Laver to house DJs and It was the most crowded venue while Armin was playing at the Vodafone I said "thats it, the scene is dead".......
T-Soma......all i can say is that the Australian dance music scene is one of the best in the world, and in general is still relatively young in comparison to the UK. Sure the docklands has finished, that was a fantastic era, but all you can do is enjoy the current scene for all it's worth.....there's still good parties out there.
