Hey everyone!!!
Just stopping by to say hello and let you all know I've safely returned from my trip to Australia 
Geez, a year sure flies by fast huh? My experience there was nothing less than extraordinary!!! I've learnt alot about myself and really opened my eyes to another culture. Australia doesn't differ much from Canada, but I'll tell ya, they sure know how to party down there!!! 
My trip went something like this. First to Sydney for 6 months, down to Batemans Bay for 1 week, up to Brisbane for 2.5 months, then backpacking for 3-4 weeks going to Surfer's Paradise, Harvey Bay, Fraser Island, Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, Townsville, Magnetic Island, Cairns, and Karundah. Then I flew south the Melbourne for my final 3 months.
I can't tell you how many AMAZING beaches I sat on, all the crazy wildlife I encountered, and the hottest weather I ever experienced. I can't even begin to scratch to surface of how the last year of my life has really impacted me.
All I can say is that if you have ever wondered what it would be like to travel to another country and see something new... it really is a life changing experience!

I've made my choice to move to Toronto where there's much more opportunity to advance in a musical career. Australia really has shown me that if you want something bad enough, you have to make it happen, and unfortunately, I don't feel Vancouver (as much as I will always long to live there again) has the accepting mentality of a dream I call trance.

a year does go fast like mine in canada with my family but its always well worth it and ill be back.

Yep, it sounds like you had a fab trip. Good luck with the move to Toronto-keep me updated! And I'll be over there in your neck of the woods at the end of summer-you'll have to let me know if your gig'n anywhere or where the hot spots for trance are. GOOD LUCK!

Not too sure about that Papa Smurf, Anita. I liked his style when I saw him, but his technical side needed alot of work. He plays great tunes though, alot of tracks I play myself. Plus, I don't really get along with the arrogant type, and Papa Smurf reeked of it when I met him on all occasions.
Yes Elena, I had some amazing things happen to me down there (for DJing). You should've seen how many copies of 3D World magazine I had stacked up in my house I played some amazing gigs that really have highlighted my trip, and can only hope that others here will see here, what they saw in me down there
It's really nice to be back a part of the hockey world too!! One of my best memories down under was watching the Stanley Cup Finals last year at 10am in the basement of a sportsbar, packed full of Canadians cheering on the Oilers.

Krys, I'm seriously thinkin about coming back to Van. Mostly because I hate the snow here and rather be riding the moutains Maybe I'll just show up one day in your room, sitting on a chair, so when you wake up, I'll be the first thing you see, and scare the shit out of you!

Man it's been forever since I posted here. Haven't visited the site in awhile. Thought i'd say hello and give a welcome back Kris. I had a few friends spend 7 months in Surfers Paradise last year, said it was a blast. Glad your experiance was pleasurable and progressive in your life. Nice to see you back and I hope you enjoy Toronto .
