Love of Trance Getting out of Hand?

I realized a bit ago that what attracted me to the last two guys i dated was their love of trance. NOthing compares to looking at someone during jan johnston's flesh, live, and knowing they understand exactly what you feel..I am afraid that liking trance has become an extremely vital criteria in a guy's personality. I am beginning to question how important musical taste should be when looking for love?

The way I see it, it's just like any other trait. Some people look for a SO who likes classical music, or a SO who likes to put models together, or whatever.

Like with me, I need a girl who likes computers. She doesn't need to be a total geek or play games all the time or anything, but at the very least she needs to understand computers are a large part of my life.


If you need a guy who likes trance, more power to you. I think it would be really great to have a SO who knew and loved all the tracks I love too. Consider yourself very lucky!

Um......no......you cannot love trance too much. I say just go out and get a life if you think trance is affecting your mind.

i only know one chick that likes trance (she doesn't even like it THAT much) but man..........!

hmm, I agree music is such a big part of my life, so to me it's very important to have a GF who understands and shares similar tastes in music

yeah, in a city where oakenfold is considered "hot underground sh*t" and rapture is "new" it isnt easy to find girls that like real trance. but hey, i always let girls borrow some of my CDs and stuff. my point is...i dont really care. as long as they arent goths :x

Girls who like trance RULE!

I wish more girls like trance because most of my gfs in the past all like hip hop/rnb which I can't stand. I use to love it but now I can't stand it. It's always nice to have someone with the same interests as you. It's a good thing.

Not that I won't go for girls who don't like trance but there's this extra attractive quality about girls who dig it.

You CAN'T get any better than that...chilling with a girl who loves trance. I just love feeling a connection with the music like that. As a friend or a g/f, any girl that loves trance is awesome.

well..I wouldn't need someone who's addicted to trance, but she atleast has to be able to dig it. I konw some people that can't stand it, and when I'm hangin around them it's okay, but when I'm listening to my music on a CD player (it's fairly loud) we just have to seperate cuz they're always bitching at me to turn it down. I could go for a non-trance-loving chick, but if she was into it, it would just make it oh so sweeter.

Unfortunately nopez, a girl I hang out with here (a good friend of mine) isn't into the trance, but it's cool cause she doesn't mind it. I know of no other girls in Thornhill that like it...oh well. Although I did meet a girl at York last week who I think does...hmmmm. lol Whatever, it's cool.

of course, a girl that likes trance has much more in common with you. but if a girl is not really into trance, personally, i would never let it come between me and a girl.

just imagine you're with that special person, listening to trance, and that tingly "scream/dance/jump" moment comes... and both of you are overfilled with emotions... you hug/kiss... just imagine how that would feel... OMFG... now, that would be a moment you'll remember till you're 99...

OMFG...i couldnt agree with you more
its like this little growing obsession..trance..i dont even look at guys that dont like it!.its gotten to be a tad bit scary..it has become a very VITAL criteria..but when you like trance that much and you live by it it becomes more than a musical taste..
ITS A LIFESTYLE <--....at this moment PULSEDRIVER's - I DOMINATE YOU comes to mind...the I=trance...

Actually that's the girl from a playstation 2 game, Final Fantasy X. Hopefully they will make a movie and get Britney Spears to play the role.

ok, so that's what it was! cuz it looked familiar and i was like "i saw this girl somewhere, but where?" and since Andorastar is from Toronto, and i'm from Boston, i was just wondering where i could have had met her.
