Help for a college work on "Reunion" Texas

Hi guys,

sorry to disturb you with this and my terribly Froggy English,

but i have to describe the story of the Settlement Project called "Reunion" (near Dallas, Texas) in 1855...

if anybody have infos about that (like the reasons why it didnt work,
political problems that was due to settlers and the USA in 1855...)

If you're referring to the La Reunion Colony that was trying to establish a Fourier-based collective profit-sharing business back in 1852, the link above is a pretty good account.

That's part of the ultimate scheme, actually. I'm 35 hours shy of my Bachelor's, then it's on to Master's and Doctorate, and God help the poor bastard that misses class on test day, 'cause I'll break that sorry sum'bitch outta his frame.
