Scary Shiyot.

Does this happen to anyone?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis

It's probably happened to me a good 5 or 6 times that I can remember, and each time, I try and yell for help, it's as though I have no voice, or it's broken up.

My last experience involved me trying to yell, then I actually felt myself reach for my nightstand light, and as soon as I turned on the light, I actually woke up, was able to move, and I don't have a nightstand light.

One letter: K.

Though, it isn't scary.

eh?

Happened to me once as a kid. I don't think I ever want to experience it again, scary shit.

I guess it gives you a slightly decent idea of how it is to have paralysis, imagine having to live like that everyday of your life. It's scary enough for a few minutes.

I'm talking about this shit happening when I'm sober, not drug induced.

You wouldn't be able to tell it was drug induced on K anyway.

Posted by Masonious on Jan-27-2007 15:54:

was happening to me every night for months, it's horrifying. I'd have to get enough adrenaline to spasm a leg or something so i'd wake up. then i'd be out of breath and definitely shaken from not being able to breathe.

f'ing horrifying feeling.

Not quite, I just value life more when I'm in control of it. Let's not get off topic and turn this into a drug debate.

Good idea. I don't know how much more this kind of sanctimonious bullshit I can deal with on a Saturday morning.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Jan-27-2007 18:02:

I get it every now and then, usually when I take naps. So I already know it will happen to me today because I'm gonna go home and take a nap after work.

But yeah it is pretty freaky. You get hallucinations, hear voices, etc. I usually get myself out of it by holding my breath until I can't hold it anymore and I usually just wake up from that. Sucks when you are telling yourself that as soon as you wake up you aren't gonna fall back asleep but I always do because I am completely exhausted, and before I know it, it's happening again. lol

Ketamine is more like the space honey from futurama.

Sleep paralysis used to make me fearful, but it doesn't seem to bother me now as much as it used to...

whoa whoa whoa. did you just say i have low standards because i've tried drugs before? I mean please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Posted by Orbax on Jan-27-2007 19:01:

i used to get it 2-3 times a week. Its a sign of sleep apnea.

I went on some meds for sleep and stuff and I havent gotten it since.

But yes, it is one of the most terrifying things ever.

I don't care what drugs everyone does or doesn't do, I'm mainly speaking of myself.

I've done my fair share in my time, I'm not on a high horse, so let's get that straight right now.

what the fuck! you just said that you haven't tried K because you have standards.

my question: are you saying i don't have any standards because in my lifetime i have tried it... nor do the other people that have? i just wanna clear this up please tell me where the fuck you're coming from with this shit.

The way in which you are phrasing your sentences leads me to believe you are riding a horse atm.

Let's call him Rocky
