TA Track Of The Year 2006: Final Poll to Close on Jan 29 at 8 AM GMT

And the winner is...

BT - The Antikythera Mechanism

Congratulations to BT on winning this year's TranceAddict Track of the Year Award! Despite the concerns brought up by my fellow TAs, winning the award by beating out 100s of nominations and dozens of quality tracks in the polling period is a testament to BT's skills and abilities as a producer. Well done!

well since bt has a near 2:1 ratio on the arksun track, I think that's pretty clear.

i think its pretty clear thats wrong. all the trance fans have their votes split between about 7 tracks, for bt's track to win on its own it would have to have more than half of those people vote for it if that were the scenario.

Ouch. Actually double ouch as BT was leading in his Unofficial Final Round before it was removed disproving his claim!

Alright, next year I'm going to reduce the final round to 5 tracks to avoid this same vote-splitting travesty along with streamlining the whole polling period to resemble the old heat system, although my clairvoyant abilities tell me someone will manage to bitch about something else in the process.
