Has it already been a year? Time has flown by pretty fast.

This is one heavy line up. You've got all the genre's this time around. I can't wait to hear breakbeats in the main room once again.

I cant believe it myself. I started this night a year on a whim. I just hought that it would be great to try & bring back some older flavor in a strong monthly event that featured 3 resident DJ's & 1 guest each month. Remembering monthly events such as Community, Wicked, King St. Garage, Groove Kitchen & a few others were the thoughts i had in my head when i came up with the concept. & so far WOW!!! Its grown to be an amazing energy filled event. Im looking forward to this 1 year anniversary.

I remembered Taj booked me on the first local love night.. it was fun..now it's been one year..wowo..woo...Come and celebrate our new year as well..

Wow it's been a YEAR? Hat's off to you Taj for making this regular event a success.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to watch and listen to our local boys and girls drop bumping sets that always wow the Ten15 crowd. I'm sure that they (local DJs) also appreciate the chance you give them to show us what they got.

Being a regular at Ten, I can say that you, Dave and the entire Ten15 crew had made significant progress in bring Ten back to it's Glory Days.

Taj for SF Mayor !!!! Well, maybe Ten15 Mayor

Love

Yea my favorite local DJs night. Holy shit a year, I think I was there for the first one. It's such a cool event, I can't think of any other event like it in the city. Congratulations Local Love!

If anyone here hasn't experience a Local Love party at 1015, it is surely something not to miss out on. This isn't just your typical night. This has been one of my favorite nights to attend.

The atmosphere is the same as night when a headliner comes out.

My first Alibi was their one year anniversary. First Local Love will be one year anniversary too. Tried making it to the one in January but was way to tired

Didn't you play at the first one, also? Those were the days you played more trance. I think you should pull out a classic trance set for this one. So start dusting off those old F8 records.

Taj,

BTW....not to be PC about things but just a suggestion.....next year can you guys call this party "Lunar New Year" instead of "Chinese New Year" because it's just not the Chinese community celebrating the Lunar New Year.

Nothing taken here bro! I am Filipino and we dont traditionally celebrate the Lunar New Year but heck I celebrate any cultural event just to PARTY

But you know that there are some Vietnamese, Koreans and Japanese in my posse and they do celebrate the Lunar New Year.

And oh...... the Hispanics and Caucasians in my Posse are just like me.... we PARTY with any cultural celebration

We will be at this party with full force !!!

Posted by rizo on Feb-09-2007 05:55:

I'm not Asian even though everyone thinks so but I'll celebrate Lunar New Year on behalf of my step-dad and sister who are Vietnamese

Posted by DJ Taj on Feb-10-2007 02:52:

ONE MORE WEEK!!! Being Puerto Rican descent im always lookin to party as well for any occasion!!! & spending quite a bit of time in Vietnam ive learned how it importtant the Lunar New Year is...
