Retro & Italo-Disco Mix, Volume 1(re-edit)

Recently I have placed a retro mix on here that I had to bring down hours later because there were serious errors on it that I missed ;-) Here's a rewamped version with extra tracks. Mixed continuously using Traktor 3, edited using Sound Forge 5. Please let me know how the mixing and track selection is. I found it very difficult to mix this style of electronic music (harder than the detroit techno mix I started working on). Anyhow, please comment ;-)

This looks might tasty, Mr. Mag! I'm downloading now. I have a couple of other mixes I want to listen to but I'm working today and should be able to listen to three or four, so hopefully I'll report back later.

I want to learn to make my own mixes...maybe I'll give it a try next time I go home.

I will be doing a euro mix in the future as well, I listen to a variety of electronic music ... I have a collection! But, will try to improve on mixing, I didnt like my mixing on this one. Though I hope the track selection was pleasing ;-)

Thanks for all the feedback, keep it coming! I have a house mix, disco mix, euro mix, oldskool trance mix, techno mix slanted for the future to make, in the summer or earlier ... and probably more of the rest.

some immense ones in here phill!

cellophane - music colours from 1984.. wow this track was great!

and of course voyager distant planet.. that was great as well.. humanoid invasion great laserdance tune as well

mixing was good overall, watch the cueing though some flow was lost but overall really enjoyed the set as a whole!

the next mix should be spectacular as well

awesome track selection !

also Wish - Automatic Lover (1983) this is the original from what everyone sampled eh?

I am working on a late 90s trance mix right about now, but I was never really a big fan of pumping progressive, so highly unlikely. I am glad you guys liked the mix. I'll make another one of this stuff sometime in the summer, with better mixing.
