is lange bordering?
on commercialism? now let me get something straight i have no problem with songs being commercial its just i didnt think lange made tunes like that i noticed drifting away did the rounds on top of the pops and now hes remixed one of ian van dahls new track?
IMO he IS commercial. i still think he is capable of producing quality tracks though.
The reason Lange productions are starting be noticed by the public IE as you said, drifting away in the Charts is simply because of the vocals I think. People cant understand why us trancers can listen to a track wihout vocals in it and Lange tracks have these vocals. However I dont think that Lange tracks coming into the charts will at all change his style, ie from the awesome I believe.
Funny this has come up, cause I have a friend who knows I love trance but he sorta only listens to music which has been on charts etc.... Recently he had got one of my songs of a CD, which ahppened to be Lange - I Believe as it was the only one he knew because of Lange - Drifting away.... and after listenin to it hes well on his way to becoming a Tranceaddict
It you want tracks from from the producer of Lange, without vocals,
Firewall - touched
Firewall - reflections
LANGE tracks are being noticed in the Charts - But I hope he will remember to stick to the quality trance music he has been producing and not go off hunting for loadsa money on Top of the pops
BTW as far as I know two of the tracks he is remixing at the minute are
Dario G - Feels Like Heaven
Ian Van Dahl - Reason

Ian Van Dahl - Reason [Lange Mix], has been released on PROMO a couple of weeks ago.
Lange - Drifting away was average, but it was there for the remixers and there was some quality remixes of it:.... HIVER & HAMMER!!!!
The firewall choonz are thonly Lange produced choonz I like, as they have been produced for the underground trance seen and not for a Now thats what I call music album.

These were LANGE'S best days!! 99
FRIENDS OF MATHEW - OUT THERE [LANGE MIX]
THE MORRIGHAN - REMEMBER [LANGE MIX]
LOST WITNESS - HAPPINESS HAPPENING [LANGE MIX]
Just because someone's tunes chart doesn't mean their necessarily trying to be commercial, sometimes it just happens.
But yes I must agree that some of Lange's productions have been getting a bit "campy" (the term cheesy is way to subjective)
Lange "was" good and I thank him for what he gave us.
But maybe he's in a trance break, now focusing on the big money from commercial tunes
I would say Lange is bordering on Isotonic trance, although lately cheesy vocalz have started findin' their way into his choonz.
Still Love lange hiz tracks & remixes are awsome example
Lange - Drifting Away
Hemstock & jenning - Mirage Of Hope (Lange Remix)
