Thanks for downloading mate. Nope, not easy at all. Lets hope that changes in the future. Looking forward to hearing your feedback. That mix you and DJ Metatron did was superb.

I respect your style of music, but it seems you have forgotten the name of the website...Good luck with changing our central focus.

Well, trance is and have always been my first love. My previous mixes I have posted on here have all been heavily trance influenced. However, progressive house and electro could fit in very nicely in a trance set too.

This set could be seen as the beginning of a night, whereas later on one could be putting in some more trance oriented sounds. Some people might like this style of music and incorporate it in their own sets.

I do so as well, and tracklist looks mint.

I was merely being an ass earlier, trying to poke at things, lol.

No worries. =) Let me know if you've listened to it.

oh no!~!!!!!~!1
you totally hit the bullseye with the content I'm enjoying it throughout! And mixing is perfect? I couldn't find any inconsistency to point, wow. The transitions are awesome, not only technically, but also in the matter of choosing following tracks. Every pair goes so well I doubt it could any better No, seriously, I mean it.
As I am fairly new to house sets, I don't have an idea of how house set should progress/evolve. I guess it's good to have some ups and downs, some floorkillers separated by fillers. Is that the most common approach? Your set flows brilliantly, no loss of energy anywhere, that's grand! You somehow inspired me to do prog house/electro mix, I just haven't decided yet on how I'd like it to evolve. Cheers for that Can't wait to hear your next effort!

Thanks for the review! I'm really flattered by your comments, they made my night. I wanted the set to focus on groovy basslines which would work well on a club sound system. For instance "Vies Of Wilderness (Original Mix)" and "Turning The Curve (Simon & Shaker Remix) which IMO are bad ass tunes in respect to that. Also, I threw in some milder tunes like "Sunhump 2006 (Original Mix)" to variate/settle it down a little bit.

It also makes me happy that you want to do a set in similar style. It always feels good to inspire people in one way or another. Based on your skills and support here it will most definatly be a success! Good luck!
