What kind of fucking IDIOT would confuse a 12 year old with a 29 year old? Those fucking morons deserved whatever they got. Idiots.

With all of the cases of pedophilia in the world, I wonder if it is only a matter of time before pedophiles "come out" and picket for their rights.

Not that I am necessarily directly comparing pedophilia and homosexuality, as there is a world of difference between consensual sex between two people of the same gender and more or less raping an innocent child, but (though I am not sure on this), much like homosexuality, I do not think that pedophilia is a random human fetish that's only been developed in recent times. People have been having sex with "children"(though the definition of what a "child" truly is has changed a lot in the course of civilization and very much varies between times and cultures) for a long, long time. It has always been shunned in widespread culture, as it should be since it is considered to be a wholly immoral act, but you always hear about Police finding large caches of child pornography in people's computers - where does this porn come from? Who is distributing it? For there to be a large cache of child porn, wouldn't that mean that there is a large community supporting this sort of act and pornography?

It's hard for me to grasp these sorts of things because I am neither homosexual or a pedophile, but I do try to understand that things like "good" and "evil" are sometimes relevancies to culture and time period. Since practically the beginning of civilization, women were most often treated as property - only objects that were there to please and to serve men. Is the subservience of children all that much different? I am not vying for anyone's rights to own or distribute kiddy porn because I think it is sick as hell and that people who participate in it should probably be executed for ruining the innocence of a child, but this sort of practice lurks beneath the surface of almost every human community - is it a matter of time before it is accepted as normal practice for those who prefer, or are there universal morals which prevent any sort of human society from supporting so (relative to present "normality") heinous a deed?

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about NAMBLA. It's easy to write it off as a big joke though (kind of like Scientology...?). Is NAMBLA only the beginning of something though?

saw an episode of law and order somewhat similar to that circumstance. perhaps this is where this guy got his inspiration....

In relation to the other thread about people/society being stupid, I'd like to cite this as evidence. Who in their right fucking mind wouldn't question a 12 year-old that obviously looks as though he's in his late twenties?

Posted by CrazedOut on Feb-02-2007 00:07:

jeez this story is still gettin published?
