Is this a good set for a small party?

I figure I should start slow and the progress into faster BPMs. But then again, it all depends on people's response. How is this playlist?

Cosmic Belt - Time Flies
Ferry Corsten - Forever
Probspot - Digital Emotions
ATB fest. Tukan - Light a rainbow
Super8 and Tab - Won't Sleep tonight
Aalto - 5
Perpetuous Dreamer - Sound of Goodbye
Tilt - the world doesnt know
Ferry Corsten - Daylight
Cosmic Gate - Analog Feel
Gabriel and Dresden - Dangerous Power
Solid Globe - North Pole
Dallas Superstars - Higher
Incolumnis - Tsunami
Darude - Next to you
Hiver and Hammer - Fusion 2006
PVD - Time of our lives
Above and Beyond - Good for me (club mix)
Mirco De Govia - Final Emotion
Aalto - Rush
Tiesto - Urban Train
Rank 1- After me
Armin van Buuren - The world is watching me

Wow, how did you get your copy of Good For Me so quickly? It was only released as promo today, for shipping!

My bad - I have a Thomas Datt remix. I have my ways . What do you think about the playlist?

Its on the lighter side of trance, very TATW / ASOT, so if by small party you mean people who are not 100% into trance, then yes, this is a solid set. Nice way to introduce someone to the genre.

That's precisely what I was aiming for. I love a lot of these tracks myself. In particular, I like tunes, like Sound of Good bye and Won't Sleep Tonight. They are definitely some of my all - time favorites.

Most of the people were newbies in terms of trance, so I figured that playing a list would slide. In the end I actually had to adjust it quite a big, because it appeared that everybody wanted to hear hard tracks

id have to agree with andre on this one, some classics in there, but me personally, if i were to play for a crowd that no one really likes trance or has never heard it, id blast out alot of stuff from 2006, just so many killer tunes in that year, that would really have a place bumping hard

I found that all of the newbies were really into Ferry Corsten. I played most of the LEF album

thats funny, my last gig was in front of junglists. and more of a breaks crowd, i blasted in some discover stuff, then ended the set with Saltwater-The Legacy (Alphazone Remix)

now there is a track to get a place happening, man after the set i couldnt even take a piss with out people saying how good it was lol.
