So many cd's, its mental
I swear, I could open a shop. I've known I have a LOT of cd's, but now that I've been trying to pack them up in boxes, and making sure every case has a cd inside (sadly, this is not the case for so many), I really think that if I tried to listen to every one of them, in a continuous flow, until the day I died, I dont think I would get thru them all. Many of them have probably only been listened to a single time, only because I'd go and buy more, or buy many in bulk. If I could sell them for the price I paid, I'd probably be a millionaire. And don't get me started on the hundreds of promos, recorded DJ sets, and burned cd's as well....(most of which I've never listened to).
The amount of cases that are missing cd's, and cd's that are missing cases, or a double cd that's missing a single, makes me want to cry. Its as if a whole bag of cd's went missing one day.

<-------Takes donations

mayb its inthere somewhere..
Funny you speak of CDs. Cale helped me organize my CDs this weekend
I have a section for real CDs that are alphabetized.
I have a section for EDM sets - again alphabetized.
And I have a section for burnt CDs colour coded by genre and put in numerical order. Track lists were made on the computer - colour coded to the CD case.
i.e. Oldies are in green cases labelled with Oldies #1, Oldies #2 and so on. Punk CDs are in orange cases labelled with Punk #1, Punk #2 and so on.
I used to have a list on my computer of all of my burnt EDM sets too, but I've lost track.

I'm supposed to be organized but in a lot of ways I'm not, it's weird.
Holy cd craziness Nat...maybe now you'll listen to some that you've only heard one time through?

I have them organized by case and order of release and genre all in one section of a bookcase...it does the job.
