Just so it happens, I got another one; nuts, this one was for the stupidiest reason, doing 125 on the highway?....how do you get a $ 125 ticket for that? ... officer Prick.

Not that I'm complaining, this is the least $$$ per ticket I've yet got, but 125km/h????
.....I quote...."oh sir....you were doing 25 over in a 100 zone, registration please"....prick.

Meh, I'll just add this one to my collection and move on to better days.

SO....WHAT'S THE MOST YOU HAD TO PAY FOR YOUR ROAD VIOLATIONS? according to highway traffic act...hehe

For the recod I've only gone up to $ 469 and couple of demerit points, I blame the car for being so damn fast ...

I got caught doing 158. Don't even ask.

I have a lead foot.

I have gotten 2 tickets at 285$ each + 4 points and another small minor + 2 points. My last ticket is finally cleared so my insurance should drop a lot this year when it renews.

I have been very lucky not to have anything more than that really.

One no longer has his licence and had a HUGE fine to pay and the other paid someone to help get the charges reduced a little, but still had a lot of costs to pay once it was over.

450 for a lawyer who got me off with only 2 points.

Around $200.

Yes.. was in the car for that.. a summons to court for doing 145 in a 60 - changes the entire tone of May 24.

She ended up paying just over $1000 once all fees were said and done..

I got one a few years ago...I can't remember the exact price but it was almost $300 and 4 points.
