Orientation Week at University/College Activities

Hey guys, i'm on this committee at university and basically we have to run a bbq for all the new comers that are in our faculty.

So far we've got a bbq and alochol and a dj playing tunes but we need an activity that lots of people can do that is fun.

We're having the BBQ on a big area of lawn and about 100 people or more would be there.

Some sports like soccer or volleyball we thought might be a tad tricky to organise as no one will really know each other and sorting teams could be difficult with everyone wearing different stuff.

If the activity involves drinking that's sweet too.

You are trying to get 100+ random people together to participate in one activity the likes of which you have no particular framework for common interests?
